My Computer!!!

I spent the whole of yesterday frustrated over some computer problems.
My laptop couldn't connect to the internet since Friday and the USB doesn't work either.
It happened that I rolled back my system restore to Thursday but with no effect.
It is frustrating not having internet and my home desktop (Windows ME) is not compatible with a lot of software (among them is the most recent version of MSN) and it won't allow me to transfer stuff over using my portable hard drive.

I BLAME WINDOWS UPDATE FOR MY PROBLEMS!!!No more windows update for me!

Guess what the solution was: deceptively simple... I should have rolled back to Wednesday!
Now most things are working ....well...except my wireless.:( It still means I gotta share my internet with my mum.:(
