Yet another day in "paradise"

I can't believe it, I dozed off at my table not once but TWICE today. Gosh...so sian...No one to talk to, jus research and research and research. I feel tempted to bring my music there and play it on headphones. Wondering if any of the office ppl will mind or does that reflect really badly on my part? Spent the rest of the time checking out sales on online shopping at delias, guess, abercrombie, urban outfitters, gap and old navy. The sales are fairly good but just wait till January and the prices will drop to rock bottom.
Another thing is...would you mind if you're supposed to meet up with your friend who hasn't seen you for like 6 months and he/she wants to bring the significant other along? Is it just me or wouldn't you feel extra? Some ppl even worse, never tell me they're bringing their bf/gf along...it's like they're so "busy" they can't chou1 kong4 some time to meet up with you like that. Of course some long distance rs ppl don't meet often I can understand but other cases its like saying "your friendship doesn't mean anything to me". OK so what if I were in their shoes? Hehe...I'd only do that to a person I didn't really wanna meet up with but was just being obligated to...if you know what I mean ;).
Whatever lah...maybe I have pms and I am bitching and feeling crappy. I will seek solace in playing the piano or do something soothing.
Today I went to my mom's fren's house after work to play with her cocker spaniel...so cute but the dog a bit dumb lah..cannot recognize me! She lent me "the Hotelier" DVDs and said that she like Bae Yong Jun...yesyes another victim hehe but she says that she is not that siao about him. This reminds me of the NYtimes article that Chiat sent to me...Jap women were clawing, shoving and scratching their way just to get a glimpse of dearest Bae who has attained the status of a god in Japan. It seems that most Asian middleage women who have watched Winter Sonata or the Hotelier have fallen head over heels for him (or is it his character?). Whatever...will try to watch it to find out why this guy is so fascinating...ok he looks intellectual (a plus on my side), his character is probably sensitive, gentlemanly and all those things women would looooveeeee their men to be (But sadly, are mostly disappointed). That leaves us thinking what guys today are lacking. Aiyah, better not say too soon...wait till I watch everything....I will try NOT to fall for Bae :P.
