Ooohhh....tong1 xiao1 mahjong is the reason I 've been procrastinating my blogging but I'm back! I must really kick this habit!
Last Saturday, we went to "Penang" Restaurant at UNC. The food was great (so is any Asian delight that is available over here!!. There was char kway teow, penang laksa, nasi lemak, mee goreng etc. Perhaps the food wasn't as spicy as we'd expect but it's better than nothing. I know you guys in Singapore must be like "Haiyah we got this kind of food everyday, so boring...Interesting food is like NYDC, Pasta Mania, etcetc" But trust me, if you spend more than 1month in US (esp if the place is not California) you will seriously MISS Singaporean food!!!Once I get back, I will eat Chinese food and nothing but more Asian food.Hehe=)... Anyway something funny occurred when we were on the our way back to the busstop. We passed by this VCD rental shop then only the guys went in (for obvious reasons) to the adult section. They saw this DVD called "Cooking with the Porn Stars" that had a nude woman holding a plate on the front cover. Ugh. How come porn over here is so openly sold?

Monday: Something quite shocking happened. I've told most of you about it so just remind me again, NEVER to give the wrong guy the wrong idea! (which brings to mind the question of when the "rite" guy will appear haha)

Friday: My first experience serving tables. It was a humbling experience. We didn't have tickets for this Indian dinner so we decided to be servers to "earn" a free meal. I had to refill cups and take orders. Just discovered I really suck at pouring water, will drip all over the table and the ice pieces will fly everywhere. So maluating! It was real tiring but fun. My friend actually got tipped $1 for his "Excellent" service. Dinner was really good. We had curry veg, dumplings and chicken with this tasty condensed milk-like dessert.
After dinner, we proceeded to watch a concert by the Indian society at Duke. It was great, various dance (non Indian) groups were invited to perform Indian themed music. The one thing I didn't enjoy was that I was sitting beside the "gay" couple and they were co-ordinating their hollering, which was damn loud. The sissy even attemped to shout into my ear.

Speaking of the "gay couple", they are an interesting occurrence in Duke. They have gotten even closer cuz now, one has to morning call the other so he can get up on time for his engineering classes. Yesterday one slept over at the other's room. My friends said they spotted them looking out of one of the guy's room today morning and presumed there must be some development in their relationship. Also heard that on Thur, the couple visited a fellow Singaporean's room and on finding no space to sit on the bed, the sissy conveniently SAT ON his "partner's" lap. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
*shudder*
At the same time, it is actually sweet.

*spoiler* The couple is Catholic. They've never gonna approve the gay marriage of themselves. What a waste!
