Hurricane alert!
Hurricane Isabel, a category 2 hurricane is striking the coast of North Carolina (the state where duke is) and striking Duke itself later in the evening.
Hope everyone is safe and sound by tmr night.

The last hurricane that hit Duke was Hurricane Fran. The whole city of Durham had a 6 day blackout. But Duke was doing well cuz power cables are underground!

I get to experience my first hurricane within the first month of my being in Duke..how great! (hope there are no classes=P)
