The Fear of Public Speaking

I was worrying and practicing the T-Rex speech because I would be called to give it in front of the whole class. However, the TAs forgot to call me! Maybe they’ll do it the next session but really, I wish I had given the speech because this just means that I would have to rehears it again. This time, I don’t think I’ll spend more than an hour practicing it plus I need to remember to use my dear babies as “eyes” for eye contact practice. The workshop was quite interesting but the scary thing was that we had to do impromptu speeches. The first one was on voice regulation and we were told to do an impromptu on James Bond’s life…I did a re-endition of Casino Royale but it was difficult to sound “sad” or “slow” at some pretty exciting parts! We also did a speech thing with walking and yes, I seem to have a coordination problem, also had to do eye contact part which was quite scary I must say!
