Would you like Lizard Fragrant Rice?

Something really funny happened today. Mum was cooking rice for dinner and there was a really odd smell emanating from the rice cooker -- it smelt kinda like BBQ meat so I thought that the condo next door had a bbq function. However, our rice ended up smelling funny...almost rubbery and thank goodness no one really tasted it because when mum lifted out the rice pot, lo and behold! A BBQ LIZARD. Very very squashed between the pot and the heating plate. The expression my mum's face was priceless...yes she has a lizard phobia. I found the whole incident rather amusing and we continued dinner, but had to replace rice with bread...very odd combi because we had tang hoon egg and scallop broccoli as the main course.
