Life @ Gothic Wonderland

Life here is eventful, yet uneventful...I guess it's pretty much what you wanna make out of it. You could spend all your time mugging in your room for the endless string of tests.
As for me, I'm just starting to get busy. Econometrics test on tuesday...and econometrics is just a bunch of statistics. Yes, hellish proves included and lots of linear regression. Now I'm wishing I took F Math in JC.
I went iceskating with a couple of friends last Saturday @ Cary IceHouse. Lots of ABC equivalents of ahbengs skating around in ice hockey skates and doing stunts unsuccessfully. I notice the iceskates here are much more comfortable than the ones at JEC, which cause horrible blisters on my feet. I can still remember the first time I iceskated in sec1 and had so bad blisters that I was in slippers for a week and got asked by the disciplined mistress (who had a horrified look on her face) what happened to me. This time was much better, I had lotsa fun whizzing around the rink, which is much bigger than JEC except that the ice is so worn down that it's slippery.

How was everyone's vday this time? For me, to put it shortly, I feel 幸福:) and it's not just on vday. ;)
We celebrated Pat and Penny's Bday at the super posh and expensive Washington Duke Inn which is just outside our school. I had a dish of scallops and lobster and melting chocolate cake that cost me a hefty $45. Why do things that taste good cost so much and why are the portions so small? Dinner was enjoyable. Got to catch up with the Singaporeans as a big group again. Wonder what will happen next year with the further fragmentation of residential locations...some people are moving to central campus. Will things get lonely on West?
We lost another game to U of Maryland...ARGHHHHHHHH...Come on Blue Devils. I'm hoping for a better season this time. Dunno if we can get into the Final Four this year:(. We're playing with Wakeforest right now...we're leading by 4 points with 11.5min to go in the first half!Not bad!oops...took at look at gametracker again...our lead is slipping by 2 points...
Oh yah, realize that I haven't been to watch any of our bball games although I live so near to the bball stadium. Lazy lah...keep waiting for the weather to get warmer, and don't exactly wanna stay in the walk up line for 48h and get frozen.
