Post Graduation Photo Taking @ Stanford

The weather at Stanford can be unbearably hot in the afternoons so my dad and I decided to do some phototaking in the early evening. We even scheduled it a day after commencement so that the crowds would more or less be gone (true but there were still some who thought like me).

We spent forever trying to get photo with a decent shot of the Hoover Tower. It didn't help that my dad is old and cannot squat down to take photos, plus he can't really see the dim camera screen. One last word of warning - don't leave the house without a new/fully charged battery. It was a torturous experience trying to switch on the camera, quickly snap a photo and then switch it off so as to prevent the camera from switching itself off before the picture could be taken.

Another frustration with my Canon lau pok 2MP camera is that it cannot take fast shots. There is this built in reaction time in the camera that is about 2 seconds. I tried getting a photo of myself throwing my hat into the air but instead got this:

Ready, get set, GO!

Errr...

Ooops
