That !@#$%$#@!ing Cap and Gown Package

This is entirely OPTIONAL. Don't be fooled!

Stanford has just ripped me off by forcing on me a $20 bright red stole because I booked the Master's graduation package. The problem is that you could NOT have opted out of the stole because they did not have the ala carte option. What am I supposed to do with it? If I give it to my parents, which one do I give it to? In retrospect, it didn't pay to be the early bird and book early because ala carte orders for grad apparel were readily available for last minute people at the book store.

Furthermore, my gown is disgusting. It smells like it hasn't been washed since the last person rented it and there is a piece of melted mint in the closed sleeves..Ugh. Back to the bookshop it goes.

Later on, I discovered that the stole actually makes quite a good accessory for the drab graduation gown so it actually had some use after all.
