KL...AHHHH food paradise

I relived some nice, carefree moments with Tengyee, Jeremy and Tzhuo Hann in KL.
Day 1
I'm impressed by the Singapore-KL buses. More comfortable than greyhound. They are so spacious!=)
Met up with Tengyee and then proceeded to "greedy street" to eat dessert, chee cheong fun and carrot cake. We also walked through the pasar malam somewhere near her house.
Most of the night was spent at KLCC (shopping centre). Traffic jams are horribly rampant in this city. You must be very patient. And it isn't extremely safe. Heard about people getting killed in confrontations!
Late at night we had supper. Food is so cheap in Malaysia!

Day 2
Palace of the Golden Horses. Very majestic, horse-themed hotel, very extravagant and luxurious. MINES city lake was right outside. We spent some time hanging around the area but shopping was sucky.
We dropped by the mall near TY's house. I think it's Midway Mall. Pretty Humongus. Lots of shopping but I didn't get anything save a pair of slippers. Lunch was chicken rice.
Dinner (haha we're living from meal to meal) was at SS2 hawker centre. Yummy, tasty Penang char kway teow. Jeremy ate alot as usual. He had two items for dinner. Bless his stomach...wish I were like him but no, I put on weight terribly fast.
We stayed indoors late at night cuz Jeremy was down with flu. No alcohol either...boohoooo.

Day 3
KL Tower, 4th tallest in the world. Nice view of KL. Met up with Tzhuo then. He's quite critical about Malaysia wasting money on designing nice buildings and then kena achieve only 30% occupancy.
Lunch was Ampang Yong Tau Foo. Supposedly authentic. Taste was only okay...not say extremely nice plus we spent almost an hour looking for the place!
We dropped by Bintang Walk (Singapore's equivalent of Orchard road). There are a variety of buildings for posh crowds and china townish crowds. These shopping centres sell alot of stuff esp pirated VCD, CDs and games.
We visited TY's old college at Sunway. Sunway is very resortish and seems quite fun but it is being invaded by ninjas clad in black. People you can guess who they are?
Dinner at Sunway. I stuffed myself crazy with Nasi Lemak.

Day 4
We wanted to go to the bridge between the Petronas Twin Towers but tickets for a suitable time were all booked. Ended up shopping at Isetan and bought clothes while the rest read books at Kinokuniya. There's a very interesting children's pool outside KLCC. I remember Tzhuo said he wanted to pretend to catch a frisbee and accidentally jump in!
Jeremy and I had to leave KL and the whole journey back was about 7h.ARGGGGHHHHZZZ. Luckily not boring. Can bitch and grumble to Jeremy hahah, while he is of course more interested in talking about politics. Actually he's the only guy I know who talks about politics...hmmmmzzz
